Early on in this experience I knew I had to blog about this fin-tastic journey I dove into. I dolphin-lately believe it will be one of the best decisions I've ever made, not just for my family, but for me.
Just a little over a month ago my world got flipped upside-down when I discovered this rare gem of a company called Paparazzi Accessories. All of my life I have been enamored with jewelry but other than the jewelry my family bought me, I couldn't afford to invest in such indulgences. That all changed with I saw an Independent Consultant selling this MERMAZING $5 jewelry! When I saw the quality and high fashion styles for just FIVE dollars I couldn't believe it. I literally thought, "What the shell?!" Is this legit? After just a few quick private messages with this stranger selling jewelry on Facebook, I had to sign up! I purchased 3 pieces during her live sale and when I received them in the mail a few days later it shocked the salt out of me! I got so many compliments on my new Paparazzi treasures and within a few days I received my start up kit.
I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't read all the fine print when I first signed up. I was so excited, no I was completely exhilarated with new ideas, an untapped passion had burst forth and I could have been selling my voice to a sea witch but I didn't care. I honestly didn't know every aspect of what I had signed up for or what I was getting into, I just wanted in! Not the best strategy as I made some mistakes, but I'll share those with you in upcoming blog entries so you can learn from my errors!
My starter kit arrived on a glorious Saturday afternoon, just a little over a month ago. My bestie and her kids were at my house having a family play date with my kids. I had no idea how to navigate my back office (included in the FREE website all consultants receive when they join) otherwise I could have clicked on "orders" and looked up the tracking information on any of the 3 additional orders I had placed during the first few days after I enrolled. I actually thought I had to call Paparazzi and ask them when my packages were scheduled to arrive. Oh boy, did I have a lot to learn. Anyway, I didn't think my package would arrive until the following Monday but my husband who I lovingly refer to as King Triton, was outside mowing the lawn when the mailman arrived. King Triton entered the house and said, "Ladies, I think I have something that might make you verrrry happy!" In his hands he held my very first Paparazzi box! All of us girls began shrieking and jumping and squealing with delight, just like they do in the movies! My bestie, her two daughters, my daughter, and I all literally had a hand on the box at the same time as we walked into our formal living room. We huddled around the precious box and had a cutting ceremony. In my heart I prayed that God would bless this box and the treasures inside it. As we pulled each beautiful piece of jewelry out I prayed that whoever received each piece would feel beautiful and feel blessed by it. It was an emotional moment for me and in my soul I could feel the tides were changing, my life was never going to be the same.
