Standing out and letting your creativity shine through!
Dear Seaster,
If you just joined my team The Mermaid Pod, one of the first pieces of advice I give to new independent consultants for Paparazzi Accessories is to stand out and use this new job as a channel to let your creativity shine through!
When I first became an independent consultant for paparazzi I wanted to let the mermaid in me swim free! The moment I decided to go with a mermaid theme I knew I'd literally wear my actual mermaid tail and do a photoshoot wearing these mermazing pieces of jewelry. From that fantasy I envisioned a treasure chest filled with paparazzi jewelry. I immediately thought about taking underwater footage of me diving down to "find" these jewels and gems. My creative soul finally had an outlet after 10 years of being pregnant and raising small humans. The ideas continue to pour in, from blog ideas, you tube parodies, theme parties for Halloween lives for the entire month of October, my mind is already planning holiday ideas!! Paparazzi Accessories has truly given me access to run wild with my creativity and the possibilities are endless!
This "job" can totally, absolutely, 100% allow you to be FREE to be YOU!
So one of the first things I do with my new Seasters is brainstorm over what they are interested in, passionate about, etc. Very quickly they begin to paint a picture about what makes them unique. I'll list a few examples: Nikki loves dark goth romantic themes and things so she is attracted to antique vintage looking pieces that are more dark. Her Group is The Dark Den and she can use all the props she already has in her home to stage her office and jewelry. Paiten loves birds and so she named her group The Bird's Nest and her website is TheBirdsJewels.com. She has so much fun in her group using her hootiful language and getting her Girls feathers all riled up over the jewels she shows them. Erica loves fairies as much as I love mermaids so she created a fairy garden theme and bought the website www.MyFairyTreasures.com. She is spreading pixie dust to local events and blessing her fairy friends with enchanting pieces. Crystal Moore is my go to Seaster when it comes to creating a group name. She came up with a dozen amazing names for her own group and settled on a Crystal lighthouse theme. She calls her shoppers her sailorettes and shows them which treasures washed ashore.
Just like throwing a kid's birthday party, when you have a theme it's so much easier and fun to run wild with that theme. People appreciate the details and remember it. If they are entertained and amazed at the beautiful treasures they get from you, they are more likely to become repeat customers AND tell their friends and family about you!
So pick a theme you will have fun with and run with it! Once you have a theme, pick a group name that highlights that theme. Before you create a group page with that name, see if it's available at GoDaddy.com. If it is grab it! Also create a new email which will be your business email address and link it to your paparazzi profile. Use Paiten's blog on how to reroute viewers from your new .com to your paparazzi website. Create the fb group with your new name! Next you'll want to create a logo. I made one for every member of my pod who signed up directly under me, but in the next blog I'll show you how to create your very own professional and amazing logo! This logo will be used as your cover photo, to make advertisements, and business cards!
Stay tuned for the video tutorial blog on how to create a logo using an app on your iPhone!
I hope you use your new position as an independent consultant for Paparazzi Accessories to truly express yourself and set your creative side free!
Sending you mermaid kisses and starfish wishes!
Xoxo
